Scorching weather in Leeds about to take horrid turn with rain incoming

Make the most of today and tomorrow's heatwave as it's forecast to give way to showers and cool temperatures for most of the first half of June.

The summery conditions will continue across Leeds tomorrow (Tuesday) with a mixture of sunshine and clouds plus temperatures of up to 23°C.

That's all set to end, according to the Weather Channel, on Wednesday when top temperatures will fall to 15°C.

And the balmy temperatures we've enjoyed in the second half of May are unlikely to recover until the middle of June.

In fact, temperatures may struggle to rise above 14°C this Saturday.

Top temperatures will rise gradually peaking at 21°C on Saturday 13 June.

But don't bring the barbecue out of the shed again because showers are forecast almost every day except tomorrow and Saturday 6 June.

Here's a brief summary for the next seven days.

Tuesday: cloudy with sunny spells, 12 to 23°C

Wednesday: showers, 7 to 15°C

Thursday: PM showers, 7 to 14°C

Friday: PM showers, 7 to 15°C

Saturday: partly cloudy, 7 to 14°C

Sunday: PM showers, 9 to 15°C

Monday: PM showers, 8 to 16°C
