A scooter rider has been transferred to Canberra Hospital following an incident with a car in Turner.
The car and the scooter are believed to have collided just before 1pm on Thursday. Police arrived on scene not long after.
The intersection of Condamine Street and Northbourne Avenue was closed for a short period, but has since reopened.
ACT police were unable to provide details of the person's injuries, however, a witness described significant damage to the bonnet of the car.
The incident has occurred just days after the ACT government released its new e-scooter safety campaign, part of its six-month review into the shared transport scheme.
As part of the review, ACT Transport conducted a survey that found wide support for the project.
