Scooter Braun snubs AMA allowing Taylor Swift to 'unleash fury' in her speech

Taylor Swift's nemesis Scooter Braun has confirmed he will not be attending the American Music Awards - and it could mean exciting news for those celebs who are in the audience.

The snub comes days after Braun and Scott Borchetta felt the wrath of Ms Swift after she from performing her own songs at the ceremony.

Taylor, 29, is confirmed to pick up the prestigious Artist of the Decade award on Sunday night, meaning she will be expect to deliver a speech as well as a killer performance.

With Braun now swerving the bash, Taylor won't have to look at him in the eye when she's handed the microphone.

Sources have told US site TMZ how Taylor is planning to direct her anger at the absent businessan.

And if her past award ceremony appearances are anything to go by, it's unlikely the Bad Blood singer will even attempt to hold back her fury.

At her last big night at the Grammys in 2016 , Taylor made sure to use her moment to take a shot at her other nemesis Kanye West after their most recent beef.

As she made history by becoming the first woman to win album of the year twice, Taylor declared: "This is for all the young women out there."

Her speech then directly responded to a controversial lyric from Kanye West that claimed he 'made Taylor Swift famous.'

She told the crowd: "There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."

Taylor and Kanye have been struck off each other's Christmas card lists since the rapper burst onto stage at the 2009 VMAs and interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech.

He took the microphone from her hands and declared that Beyonce should have won the best female video award instead, as Taylor stood awkwardly in the background.

She then got her revenge on Kanye in front of a star-studded audience at the Grammys seven years later.

And it's likely Braun will be getting the same treatment on Sunday.

Though the cameras won't be able to film the music execs reaction as Braun will be miles away in Tampa, Florida supporting Ariana Grande .

Taylor has been railing against Braun and Borchetta since June when the former acquired Big Machine Records, the label under which Taylor released her first six award-winning albums.

The feud reached new heights last week when Taylor took to social media with a post entitled "Don't know what else to do."

She told her fans: "Guys - It's been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year's ceremony.

"I've been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show.

"Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I'm not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I'm allowed to next year."

Taylor then looked to mobilise her fan base in sending a message to Braun and Borchetta.

She added: "Please let Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun know how you feel about this."

The singer finished by saying: "I just want to be able to perform MY OWN music. That's it."

After her rant, Taylor was cleared to perform many of her old hits at the awards.

He wrote: "Kindness is the only response," along with the hashtag 'words to live by'.
