A man was injured after a car crashed into a scooter outside the Royal Hospital.
Police were called out to Prescot Street at around 2.20pm today ( Wednesday) folllowing reports of an accident.
A police spokesman said that a car collided with a scooter outside the Royal Hospital. The scooter rider was knocked off his bke.

Police said he was 'conscious' after the accident and his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
He was then treated at the Royal Hospital.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene, police said.
Witnesses to the accident may call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
