A Scone marriage officer is “chuffed to bits” to be in the running for a highly prestigious national award next month – less than two years after taking up the career.
Creative Oceanic are delighted to be back again to host The Scottish Wedding Awards 2022 at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow on Wednesday, February 23.
And Brian Baxter, The Highland Celebrant, Scone is in it to win it as he has been shortlisted in the Celebrant of the Year award category.
He will find out if he will be crowned a winner at next month’s elegant ceremony.
Brian said: “As a Fuze Foundation humanist celebrant, I am “chuffed to bits.”
He qualified as a Scottish Legal Marriage Officer with Fuze Ceremonies in May 2021, slap bang in the middle of a pandemic.
Brian added: “This nomination is really special and just goes to show, with a bit of patience and perseverance from my couples, love, laughter, and ceremony outshines any world virus intervention. I truly thank all that have voted for me.”
