Science Weekly podcast: Blogging the brain, and the sounds of space

This week Alok Jha meets the Guardian's new brains blogger Mo Costandi to discuss his Neurophilosophy blog – which lifts the lid on the human brain and takes a peek inside.

Alok is joined by astrobiologist and science writer Lewis Dartnell to hear his collection of space sounds, including the sound of the sun and Saturn's aurora borealis.

Finally Guardian science correspondent Ian Sample and Observer science and technology editor Robin McKie pore over this week's science news, including the worrying trend of scientists being physically threatened simply for doing their jobs and why new research into cloud formation has been jumped on by climate change sceptics.
