Science Weekly: Christmas Special

Is it that time of year already?

Clearly the answer is yes, so why not spend half an hour in the company of Alok Jha and the Science Weekly team as we look back on the Science Weekly highlights of 2007.

We've got exclusive interviews with Richard Dawkins, Robert Winston, Craig Venter, and, er, Brian May. Plus, we round up some of the most important science stories of the past year - and, all right, some of the least important ones too. We also hear from the gerontologist who thinks he can cure the ageing process. And finally, you'll hear the Science Weekly troubadour give his take on dark matter.

Featuring the assembled talents of Alok Jha, James Randerson, Ian Sample, Bobbie Johnson, Nell Boase, Jonny Berliner (and producer Ben Green) - this is your non-Christmassy Christmas Special. Please enjoy, and make sure you join us again on January 2 as we look ahead to the science of 2008. In the meantime, why not plunder our pods from the past by listening through our archive, and if you're that way inclined, join the thousands of people who are part of our Facebook group. Ok, hundreds.
