AMARAVATI: Education minister Dr Adimulapu Suresh said the government is not contemplating to extend the festival holidays to educational institutions in AP.
The schools in state are scheduled to reopen on Monday. Parents and school teachers have been anxiously waiting for a positive decision on extension of holidays particularly in view of the surge in Covid-19 positive cases in the last one week.
The Telangana government on Sunday announced extending the holidays of schools and colleges till January 30.
