A schoolgirl has tragically died after an accident on a farm in Co Armagh.
It's understood the girl, in her teens, died on after the incident in the Bernish area of Newry on Saturday.
A statement said: "Police will prepare a report for the coroner following a sudden death in a tragic accident at a farm in Newry on Saturday."
Independent councillor Gavin Malone has described the news as “absolutely tragic”.
He told the Belfast Telegraph: "My heart goes out to the family. The family are such lovely people, such a wonderful family, it’s just devastating."
"I was at the wake. It’s very emotional. They are a hugely respected family in the area.
"They’re such lovely people. It’s hard to know what to say. It’s heartbreaking."
