Schoolgirl tipped as a 'future First Minister' by Nicola Sturgeon after leading hilarious assembly

A schoolgirl has been tipped as a future First Minister by Nicola Sturgeon after she led her very own daily briefing at school assembly.

The pupil at St Matthew's Primary in Bishopbriggs took to a make shift podium to get the rest of the school 'telt' on on the new rules.

In a video shared on social media, the young girl impersonating Nicola Sturgeon says that St Matthew's is in fact the First Minister's favourite 'wee school'.

She goes on to tell her classmates the rules including 'no sleepovers, nae parties, wear your masks like you've been telt and avoid crowded place'.

In a statement a little bit more blunt than the First Minister would usually do it, she says: "Would you all just dae as yer telt. So put on your emotional life jacket and keep one another afloat. Have a quiet, well behaved weekend".

Taking tips from comedian Janey Godley, she demands Frank get the door before marching straight into fish and chips Friday.

The clip caught the attention of the First Minister who loved the video and even tipped the talented youngster as 'a future First Minister'.

We love a little Friday funny to set us up for the weekend!
