Schoolgirl gets face plastered on lunchbox so other kids don't nick her food

A five-year-old schoolgirl insisted her mum get a lunchbox featuring a huge picture of her face to stop classmates from stealing her food.

As reported by Birmingham Live, Eden Richardson was asked by parent Andrea, 31, to pick out a lunchbox for the start of the new school year.

However, the Birmingham mum-of-two was stunned when her daughter made the hilarious request to get one featuring a massive a photo of herself.

Eden then picked out her favourite picture before Andrea purchased the £12 personalised lunch bag from Amazon.

She says the unique lunchbox has been a hit with both Eden and her year one peers.

Andrea from Birmingham said: "I was asking Eden what type of lunchbox she would like for school.

"I made a few suggestions like a Frozen or a glittery unicorn one.

"But she just turned round and said 'No, I'd like one with my face on so everyone knows it's mine and no one takes my food!'

"It wasn't what I was expecting but was happy to go along with it.

"I got Eden to pick a photo so wanted and we ordered it that night.

"The teachers at the school can't help but laugh every time she arrives in the mornings with it on.

"The other day one of them went 'we will definitely know whose this is at lunchtime!"
