Two schoolboys were robbed at knife point by two thugs in Bishopbriggs.
The 15-year-old boys were confronted by the men before being threatened with a blade yesterday at around 5.55pm on Auchinairn Road.
The thieves made off with one of the bikes after the terrifying ordeal.
The bike is a Specialized Demo 8 Bronze Marzocchi 888 forks Burgtec, ride wide handlebars Magura MT8 brakes
Police have now launched investigation.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 5.55pm on Thursday, 19 March, 2020, police received a report that two 15-year-old boys had their bikes stolen on Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs, by two male suspects.
“One of the boys was able to recover his bike during which he was threatened with a weapon.
“Neither of the boys were injured in the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
