There were tense scenes in the final of the Welsh Schools Plate at the Principality Stadium on Thursday, as Dyffryn Taf earned a thrilling last-gasp win over Merthyr College.
With Merthyr winning the contest 14-12 heading into the final minute of the game, Whitland-based Dyffryn Taf won a penalty which had the potential to see them edge their way to glory.
Up stepped full-back Lennon Reynolds, who then produced an ice-cold finish to seal three points for his team and, ultimately, a dramatic victory.
Cue wild scenes from the bench, as the players celebrated on the hallowed Principality Stadium turf, which has seen its fair share of drama over the years.
A video posted by the Dyffryn Taf Twitter page sparked quite a reaction online, with former Wales international and Whitland native Mike Phillips among those to be left impressed. Replying to the video of the successful penalty, he simply wrote: "Amazing".
With so much at stake, it's difficult to disagree with that assessment.
