An ambulance was called after a schoolboy was hit by a car on a city centre road.
Merseyside Police rushed to St James Place in Liverpool City Centre at around 4pm following reports of a crash.
Once at the scene officers found a Kia car and a schoolboy pedestrian were involved in the incident.

The North West Ambulance Service were also called to the scene to attend to the boy, who suffered cuts and bruises.
The driver of the Kia stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.
No road closures are in place on St James Place.
