A schoolboy footballer has died after a collision during a youth match in Buckinghamshire.
Luca Campanaro, who played for Bedgrove Dynamos under 13s, was injured during the game on Sunday.
The youngster died in hospital on Monday.
In a statement, his team's committee said: “Our thoughts are with Luca’s family and loved ones at this distressing time.
“We also offer our heartfelt condolences to his team mates and all associated with the club as we now try to come to terms with the tragic loss of our friend and team mate.”
The boy died on Monday afternoon after suffering injuries on the field in Aylesbury the day before, according to a fundraising page set up for his family.
The JustGiving page for the youngster said "his organs will be donated to others so in this tragic event others may live."
Bedgrove Dynamos said a decision on whether training and matches this weekend would go ahead was still to be made.
