A schoolboy's parents have shared shocking footage of their son being attacked by a group of teenagers in a bid for support.
The clip shows the young boy from Hull, East Yorkshire, surrounded by the group as he cowers on the ground.
The video was shared on Facebook by the boy's father who said he wants "people to see what’s going on".
In the minute-long clip the group are seen shouting at the boy as he covers his ears, reports Hull Live.
One boy then approaches him and tries to kick the boy, but luckily misses.
A second swings a leg and connects with the victim's temple causing him to wince on the floor in pain.
The boy is also dragged around the grass verge by his jacket-although it appears the person doing so is trying to get him away from the situation.
A young girl in the background can be heard saying “I’m so scared” and another young boy can be heard saying "don’t really hurt him".
The boy is helped up by a member of the group and dragged away but he is surrounded again and sinks to the floor a second time as they tug at his clothes.
An older child then picks the boy on the floor up and the video ends.
Both of the boy's parents agreed for the video to be shared in the hope of raising awareness of what was happening to their son.
