A mischievous 10-year-old recently gave his mum a bit of a stressful surprise after covertly organising an end-of-year bash at their house, inviting all his classmates along.
Diane Campbell, 50, couldn't believe her eyes after a pal sent her a photo of an invitation to a party set to be held at her own home, a party she'd had no idea about whatsoever.
Indeed, the professional singer and DJ only learned of the secret gathering, intended to mark the end of the school year, one week before it was scheduled to take place, from 4 pm onwards on July 25.
As previously reported by the Manchester Evening News, panicked Diane, 50, was then faced with a frantic dash to make sure all parents were informed no such event would be taking place.

Diane, who lives in Bolton, Greater Manchester, recalled: "My friend messaged me to tell me that her son was excited to come to Max's party. I messaged her back and said 'what party?!'
"She told me Max had invited everyone from his class to an end-of-school party. I had to make a status on Facebook asking people to message me because I had no idea how many invites he'd given out."
She added: "It's a big school and there are still loads of parents I haven't even met or spoken to. Max told me he'd found the invitation cards in my card box from when he had a birthday party before and had filled them out without me knowing."
Max had apparently wanted to throw an end-of-term party for his classmates because year six had been allowed one, to mark moving up from primary to secondary school, while his year hadn't.
Diane continued: "Nobody turned up, thanks to Facebook, although the neighbours and friends did joke that they were going to gate crash the party with wine and beer. I'm thankful we have Facebook, otherwise, I'd have had 31 kids at my door on Monday!"
