The headteacher of a tragic Scots schoolgirl who died after falling from a roof above a supermarket in Largs has paid tribute and said support will be offered to the devastated pupils.

Sarah Short, 13, from Fairlie, fell from Tesco Express on Aitken Street just before midnight on Saturday.

She tragically passed away at the scene and her death is not being treated as suspicious.

The tragic news has left her friends and family completely heartbroken - and the headteacher at Largs Academy, where Sarah was a pupil, says the students are devastated.
