St. Joseph’s Junior ICSE school, which started functioning in the city in 1961 as a preparatory school for the 229-year-old St. Joseph’s Boys School, will be renamed as Loyola School. Fr. E.P. Mathew, Provincial, Kerala Jesuits, will announce the new name. The official renaming ceremony will take place on the school compound near the Tagore Centenary Hall on Saturday. Kozhikode Bishop Varghese Chakkalakkal will deliver the inaugural address and release the new school logo, a press release said.
