And some of them are certain foods we used to eat, including this tasty school cake.
You may remember being served this type of cake covered with icing, coloured sprinkles and served with custard during your time at primary school.
Although you may not have tasted it for decades, one TikTok user has shared the perfect recipe for you to make it at home that will definitely leave you feeling nostalgic.

For the cake mixture you will need:
- 225g margarine
- 225g caster sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 225g self raising flour
And for the icing:
- 250g icing sugar
- 3 tbsp boiling water
Fit Waffle said: "Today we are going to be making school cake. It's super easy, you just cream the margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy, then add your eggs individually, whisking in between.
"Then fold in your flour. Scoop the mix into a lined tray [8 x 10" tin] and smooth it out. Bake in the oven [at 160C fan for 40-50 minutes] and let it cool.
"For the icing mix together icing sugar and boiling water until smooth and pour it over your cake. Top with sprinkles and let it set. It's so good."
