Visitors to The Hazeley most frequently comment on the atmosphere in our academy; the quality of relationships, our approachability and openness – in short, how happy and grounded our community feels. We are immensely proud of the many achievements of our students since The Hazeley first opened its doors in September 2005.
Already recognised as one of the very highest achieving schools in Milton Keynes, The Hazeley Academy offers an exceptional standard of education for all of our pupils; aged 11 to 19. We have achieved examination results that place us in the top 10% of schools nationally for student progress (RAISEOnline 2010).
In the core subjects of English, mathematics, and science in particular, but also across the curriculum, we excel. In sports, creative and performing arts, in languages, ICT, business and enterprise we offer an outstanding provision through an exceptional curriculum. This extends from our innovative work at key stage 3 through a very broad offer at GCSE (including the likes of law, psychology, and philosophy and catering). Through to AS and A2 levels and unique to The Hazeley, our gold-standard post 16, the International Baccalaureate diploma programme.
At The Hazeley Academy we are driven to become a world class centre for learning and to secure the highest standards of achievement for our students. However, we are doing this without losing sight of the fact that we work with individual young people: each with their own lives within and beyond the academy.
