SCHOOLCHILDREN delivered a unanimous and damning verdict on Keir Starmer’s social media ban .
The BBC dispatched a reporter to a school in Tarleton, Lancashire on Monday morning to canvass reaction to the news that under-16s would be banned from TikTok and Instagram.
A group of 12 children were asked to put their hands up “if you welcome the ban”.
The question was met with stony silence from the school pupils.
Going in for more detailed analysis, the reporter asked Isabella what she made of the news.

The child, who clearly has a good read on Starmer’s usual instincts, said she believed he would “chicken out of it”, adding: “But he seems pretty sure of it and I’m not sure if I agree with him.”
Isabella claimed she was most worried about being unable to contact her friends and family which she said that this made up most of her social media use.
Asked what her greatest concern about the ban was, she said: “Not being able to contact my friends. I don’t know what will happen and how it will happen or whether there’s some technicalities to what apps are restricted but I use most of my social media to contact my parents and family.”
Isabella said she had racked up nine hours looking at her phone over the weekend and was asked how she would spend this time otherwise. She bluntly replied: “Stare at a wall.”
Safe to say, the kids aren’t convinced.
