The dates for the rescheduled School of Rock musical have been announced.
The smash hit West End show was due to arrive in Manchester for the first time this summer, but was postponed amid the pandemic.
But now the dates for the 12-day run at Manchester's Palace Theatre have been revealed.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's stage production of the 2004 Jack Black film will be here from January 4 to 15 and tickets are on sale now.
The comedy follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who takes on a substitute teaching job at a prestigious prep school.
There, he turns a class of straight A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band - performed live by the production's young actors with roof-raising energy.
Meanwhile, Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover her inner wild child.
Featuring 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and all the original songs from the film, the show promises 'face-melting guitar riffs and touching romance in equally awesome doses'.
Casting has yet to be announced.
The production opened at the New London Theatre (now the Gillian Lynne Theatre) in November 2016 to five star reviews and widespread critical acclaim.
It went on to win the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music and a Tony nomination for its book, by Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.
The major UK tour begins later this year, premiering at the Hull New Theatre in September.
