Most children across the UK have now returned back to school after their summer holidays, heading into a new school year.
Children enjoy a six to eight-week break over the summer, the longest half-term break there is throughout the academic year.
After a difficult start to the year with the third lockdown and children trying to study from home, the summer holidays are a much-needed break for both teachers and students.
But now summer has ended, we ask when are the next school holidays in 2021?
Different schools will have different school holiday dates so it is best to check the school or college's website directly to confirm the dates.

Whilst, the majority of schools enjoy the same term dates, some add an extra insert day and others do not.
You can also find the half-term dates through your local council’s website as some areas across England have different term dates.
