The return to school is just around the corner and parents are up to their eyes getting uniforms, books and everything else that goes with sending your child to the classroom.
Another thing many will be preparing for is holidays when schools close and they need a plan.
Mid-term breaks, bank-holidays and the Christmas and Easter holidays are already on the mind with some planning holidays and others needing to organise childcare.

Here's all the holidays you need to know about for the 2022, 2023 school year.
2022/2023 school holidays
October mid-term: All schools will close from Monday, October 31st to Friday, November 4th inclusive.
Christmas holidays: All schools will close on Wednesday December 21st, this will be the final day of the school term.
And all schools will re-open on Thursday, January 5th.
February mid-term: All primary schools will close on Thursday, February 16th and Friday, February 17th - primary schools do have three extra discretionary days which could extend this to a five-day break.
Post-primary schools will close from Monday, February 13th to Friday, February 17th.
Easter break: All schools will close on Friday, March 31st, which will be the final day of the school term and return on Monday, April 17th.
