Pupils and staff members have tested positive for coronavirus at Mangotsfield Primary School.
The mixed 597-pupil primary, on Church Farm Road, has asked two bubbles to stay home – one in Year Two and another in Year Four.
Seven pupils and two staff in Year Two have Covid-19.
This has led to a Year Two bubble of 31 children and four employees self-isolating.
In Year Four, one pupil has tested positive, causing a bubble of 29 children and three staff to stay home.
It comes after 30 pupils and two staff had to self-isolate until November 7, following an employee testing positive on October 28.
The entire Year Two group stayed home on November 13, so a deep clean of its "zone" could be carried out.
At least 12 schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire have confirmed coronavirus cases since half-term ended.
You should book a Covid-19 test if your child has at least one of the following:
- A high temperature - This means if they feel hot to touch on the chest or back. You do not need to measure their temperature.
- A new continuous cough - This means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or three or more coughing episodes in 24 hours. If your child usually has a cough, it may be worse than usual).
A loss or change to their sense of smell or taste - They've noticed they cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
If your child does not have symptoms of coronavirus but has other cold-like symptoms, such as a runny nose, they do not need to be tested, and they or members of your household do not need to self-isolate. Your child can attend school if fit to do so.
