Scottish folk are rightly proud of the fizzy, ginger, non-alcoholic version of our national drink, and take any opportunity to introduce it to visitors.

Line of Duty actor Martin Compston introduced his co-star Emily Hampshire, who starred in the Emmy-winning series Schitt’s Creek, to the drink - and she wasn't shy in declaring her love for it!

Sharing a story on her Instagram page, Emily holds up one of Irn Bru's new football cans for the Euros, saying, "Martin Compton has been talking about this. The Irn Bru. He got me to try it and I get it. You guys are doing it right. This is…I get it.”
