The Cleveland Browns cannot catch a break at the running back position. After already losing star back Nick Chubb for the season, and as Kareem Hunt battles through a thigh injury, the Browns are now expected to be without Jerome Ford for up to two weeks after he exited the win over the Indianapolis Colts. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that Ford is dealing with a high ankle sprain that “is expected to sideline him 1-to-2 weeks.”
Before leaving, he had busted a massive run on the first possession of the game, taking it to the endzone.
With the 4-2 Seattle Seahawks up on the schedule next, the Browns are already dealing with the uncertainty of quarterback Deshaun Watson, and now may be down to third-stringer Pierre Strong Jr. getting the bulk of the carries. The trade deadline is one week away. Can we expect the Browns to be one of the more aggressive teams on the market?
