Scheduled international flight suspension extended ‘till further orders’

NEW DELHI: The suspension of scheduled international flights has been extended “till further orders”. India will continue to operate flights under air bubble agreement it has with other countries.

The regular flights were suspended by India almost two years ago and were likely to resume in March 2022.

However, the Ukraine-Russia conflict may have prevented the announcement till a later date.

Unlike all previous extension of suspension orders, the latest one issued by the DGCA on Monday does not give month-end as the date but simply says “till further orders”. Whether this means regular flights resume sometime in March remains to be seen on how the Ukraine crisis unfolds.
