A Schaumburg man died Sunday after suffering a heart-related event while driving and crashing his vehicle in Elgin.
Laddie Nudera, 63, was driving through the city around midnight Sunday when he suffered a “heart-related event” and crashed his vehicle, the Kane County coroner’s office said. Nudera lost control of the vehicle and possibly lost consciousness due to the medical emergency.
He was taken to Sherman Hospital where he was pronounced dead about 12:30 a.m., the coroner’s office said.
Elgin police are investigating.
