Scary robbers boot down south Dublin back door as residents issued warning over fears gang will strike again

Residents of a South Dublin suburb have been urged to come forward with any information they have after the back door of a local home was demolished during a break in.

Thankfully the robbers didn't manage to make off with anything from the house in Walkinstown on Saturday evening but Gardai have launched an investigation into the scary incident.

And residents in a local Facebook group have asked "if anyone has CCTV around the area" of the Assumption Church to "check it for a reg".

Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary of a residence in the Walkinstown area of Dublin on Saturday 13 February at approximately 7.30pm.

"No property has been reported stolen but damage was caused to a door at the property.

"No arrests have been made.

"Investigations ongoing."
