Scary image of 'entity' captured by Irish ghost hunters at famous Co. Offaly castle linked to Anne Boleyn

A group of Irish ghost hunters have shared what they claim to be a picture of a real life paranormal entity captured in a historic Irish castle.

Paranormal Supernatural Investigations Ireland, recently ventured to the iconic Clonony Castle in Co. Offaly for their latest investigation where they captured the ghostly image.

The historic castle has a link to a tragic historical figure who met a gruesome end, Anne Boleyn, King Henry VIII's wife who executed.

And the Castle is the former home of Anne Boleyn's family.

Clonony Castle, built in the 1490’s by the Coghlan Clan, was seized by Henry VIII during the war of dominion by England.

He ceded it to Thomas Boleyn, making him the Earl of Ormond, his daughter, the ill-fated Anne.

When Henry tired of Anne and the Boleyn's fall from grace, two ladies, Mary and Elizabeth Boleyn, second cousins to Queen Elizabeth I and Niece's to Anne Boleyn, were sent back to Clonony Castle for their safety.

They spent the rest of their lives in the castle and when one eventually died of old age, the other, unable to live without her, jumped from the top of the battlement at the Castle.

Their tombstone still stands on the castle grounds.

Now, PSI believe they have captured an image of a paranormal entity in the historic castle.

The spooky image shows a black mass located at a table which was not previously present in another picture.

PSI explained that the image shows an entity as well as a so- called portal to the spirit world.

The groups said: "The Castle is the former home of Anne Boleyn's family. In the picture you will see a Black mass (Spirit, Entity) and a pink blob behind the Black mass which we believe is ectoplasm.

"The ectoplasm is basically a portal (doorway) for this black mass to travel."
