A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas couldn't hide her shock as a hopeful house-hunter left her in no uncertain terms about what she thought of her property choice.
The host looked mortified as a young newlywed bluntly replied, "It's a definite no" after Scarlette showed couple Karl and Naomh properties in Spain.
The exchange came as Scarlette was attempting to find the pair their dream home in East Menorca.
With a budget of £230,000 for a two-bed house with an office, the couple were excited about making the move abroad.
However, their wish list of a swimming pool and outside space for their two dogs meant Scarlette's search wasn't easy.
The first two properties she found didn't go down well because of their size and location but the couple agreed to compromise on the swimming pool to open up the search.
Situated slightly 'out of town' and priced at just over £165,000, Scarlette admitted there was some work to be done on the next property but it did have enough space for their all important swimming pool.
But the couple were unimpressed with its layout, with Naomh commenting: "It’s very strange."
And the critique didn't end there. Growing increasingly unsatisfied she continued: "I'm going off it the longer we stand in it - I don't think it's very suitable for us."
Picking up the vibes Scarlette commented: "You’re not feeling it are you?”
"No," said Naomh. "I just can’t see us here at all."
Trying to stay positive the presenter asked: "You’re adamant it’s a definite no? Do you want to see any more of it?”
To which Naomh bluntly replied: "No."
Notably surprised by the response, an incredulous Scarlette said: "No? Just straight out?"
Despite the setback, the seasoned property expert had one last trick up her sleeve and suggested the couple consider increasing their budget.
The exacting pair were able to view a four-bed villa with a swimming pool as their fourth property after they put an extra £50,000 in the kitty.
Luckily for Scarlette, their offer of £235,000 for the villa was accepted and the show ended in triumph.
This isn't the first time the Channel 4 hosts have had their work cut out for them with exacting guests.
Jasmine Harman received an apology from a guest on the popular property show, after they "disappointed" her.
The host was on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura showing husband and wife Steve and Debbie around the Costa de Antigua.

The couple told Jasmine how they had a budget of £70,000 and wanted to find a property that had two bedrooms, a pool and a terrace.
However, the sun began to fade when Jasmine confessed, she was "disappointed" that not one of the properties appeared to be suitable for the Wigan-based couple.
