Scarlett Moffatt admitted she was in tears as she posted her first bikini picture in years recently.
And she has continued to champion the body positivity movement by encouraging her fans to love themselves and have fun, whatever they might look like.
She told her Instagram followers to never let their "mind bully their body" as she shared a snap of herself jumping into the sea.
"Don’t let your mind bully your body," she wrote to her two million Instagram followers.
"Don’t ever worry so much about your physical appearance that you let it stop you doing something you love or from having fun or from seeing friends or family or trying to find love.

"Don’t think aww I’ll do that once I look a certain way. Because YOU my friend are bloody PERFECT just as you are RIGHT NOW #perfect."
Scarlett recently shared a photo as she tried to normalise "boob gaps" and she opened up about the "horrific" trolling she experienced as a result of the honest snap.
She captioned the photo: "I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Let’s normalise boob gaps!!
"Some of comments I’ve received are horrific, but I don’t care because after years of struggling with self image I’m finally at a place where I want to shout from the roof tops: you are perfect just as you are!
"Let’s normalise the fact that everybody’s body is a beach body."
Scarlett is enjoying the luxury holiday of a lifetime, staying at the five-star Sandals Grande Antigua with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson.
The former Gogglebox star shared a bikini snap recently after admitting it took her "many years to gain confidence" with her body.

The caption read: "This shouldn’t be a big deal but it is and I’m actually crying whilst writing this. It’s took me so many years to gain confidence with my body.
"I’ve let it down at times and missed out on holidays and nights out because I’ve not liked what I’ve seen in the mirror.
"But hey after 5 years of not daring to wear a bikini I’m actually doing it!" she added.
"So I hope this gives you the confidence to buy that dress, that bikini, not miss out just because your body doesn’t fit into a certain category (because let me tell you all these things are made up nobody is too slim, too curvy, too athletic, too many stretch marks, too much cellulite ) LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE."
