By Joel Leaver

Scarlett Moffatt has encouraged fans to not "give up on true love" in a heartfelt post as celebrated her third anniversary with boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

The Gogglebox alum has been in a relationship with the police officer since 2019, though they have known each other for well over a decade.

The 31-year-old has said that "everything clicked into place" when they reconnected several years ago, with the couple now celebrating their third anniversary together.

The I'm a Celebrity winner marked the occasion with a post on Instagram, in which she documented her struggle to find her perfect match - encouraging fans to be patient.

It included a series of photos that showed the couple at various moments in their relationship, including them on a red carpet and on holiday.

Alongside them in the post, she commented: "3 years officially together my love @scottdobby. I had honestly thought about giving up on finding a nice guy.

"I felt like I'd been handed enough luck in my life and so love wasn't going to be a part of my story. Felt almost like I didn't deserve it. Until I met you and everything clicked into place."

And in a message to her 2 million followers, she said: "Please never give up on true love. I promise there's somebody out there who was made for you and don't rush it."

The TV presenter concluded: "I've known Scott nearly 15 years. Sometimes everything happens for a reason."

The post attracted lots of well-wishes, with reality star Vicky Pattison writing: "Congrats you two cuties." TV presenters Steph McGovern and Angellica Bell posted heart emojis.
