Scarlett Moffatt stuns in drop dead glam outfit as she supports Manchester Pride

Reality TV favourite Scarlett Moffatt was rocking old school Hollywood glamour as she headed to show her support for Manchester Pride at the weekend.

Former Gogglebox star Scarlett was pictured as she attended a Manchester Pride brunch at Peru Perdu next to the Gay Village party at the weekend.

And her outfit was wowing fans with her glamorous puff-shouldered black dress and her hair styled in loose waves over her shoulders.

Scarlett has proudly shown her support for Pride events across the world in recent years - and hit out on social media in 2019 when her trip to New York's Pride was criticised by some.

She revealed she'd lost more than 7,000 followers on social media after throwing her support behind the Pride event.

Posting a snap of the rainbow flags in Times Square, the defiant star wrote at the time: "It makes me both happy and sad at how far we have come to support the LGBTQ+ community but also how far we have to go before there is equality.

"People are still losing their lives and being physically and verbally abused and outcast just because of their sexuality and it needs to STOP.

"It makes me sad that since posting yesterday about my support of the lgbt community I lost over 7,000 followers, it really upsets me at the attitudes people have."

County Durham-born Scarlett attended this year's Manchester Pride celebrations alongside boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

The couple have recently returned to the UK from a sun-soaked holiday to Antigua, where she was praised for sharing photos in her bikini after revealing her struggles over many years to find body confidence

Her positive message of learning to love yourself and "live your best life" won huge support from her army of 2m fans on Instagram.

Manchester Pride ran across the August Bank Holiday weekend, although this year the huge Saturday parade was cancelled due to concerns over covid safety as it usually attracts a crowd of tens of thousands of people.

Instead, a series of smaller participant-only protest marches took place instead to continue Pride's activism on equality.

The live music element of the event was held as a two day event at the Homeground site, with Sigala and Yungblud headlining the Saturday night, while Zara Larsson and Ella Henderson took the honours on Sunday night.
