Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she will sing as she makes her first ever appearance in a pantomime this Christmas.
Throwing herself in at the deep end, Gogglebox star Scarlett will take on one of the leading roles in one of the North East's biggest pantos when she takes the stage at Sunderland Empire over the festive season as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella.
Ex-Queen of the Jungle Scarlett joins the likes of Boulevard compere Miss Rory, ITV Superstar's Jon Moses and Nickelodeon star Gemma Naylor in the Christmas spectacular and revealed to Chronicle Live that as well as waving her magic wand, she will sing live on stage.
"I don't really know if I should be telling you that,"Scarlett joked.
"But yeah that's happening and I've got a really big solo number!
"I like to think I can sing alright; it sounds alright in the shower and I've always joked that I'd maybe make it to Judges Houses if I ever did The X Factor - my family don't agree though!"
Scarlett also revealed that having being going to the Empire as an audience member for years now and now living back in the North East, she asked panto bosses to be in Cinderella.
"I just thought I'd be cheeky and ask, so I got in touch and said 'room for a little one?' and here we are and I'm so excited.
"I already know loads of people from home who have booked up to come; my old dance school is even putting a bus on!"
