Scarlett Moffatt reportedly shared her first bikini picture in five years to hit back at the cruel trolls who fat-shamed her in the past.
The former Gogglebox star posted a picture of herself in a blue and white two-piece during a holiday in Antigua with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson.
She admitted she cried as she shared the snap because it marked such a big turning point for her to have the confidence to share it with her followers.
Her post was widely praised by her fellow celebrities and fans alike, and now a source has told new! magazine that Scarlett wanted to post the picture to "stick her fingers up" to the trolls.
"Scarlett did this for herself more than anything. She's had so much horrible trolling in the past," the insider told the publication.
"And she's spoken openly about her weight fluctuating. This was her confidently sticking her fingers up to the trolls.
"She wanted to say that she's happy with who she is and how she looks and she doesn't care what anyone else thinks."
In her original post, Scarlett explained how she hoped her own post would encourage others to be bold and unapologetic for their body, whatever size or shape it is.

"This shouldn’t be a big deal but it is and I’m actually crying whilst writing this," she shared.
"It’s took me so many years to gain confidence with my body. I’ve let it down at times and missed out on holidays and nights out because I’ve not liked what I’ve seen in the mirror. But hey after 5 years of not daring to wear a bikini I’m actually doing it!"
She continued: "So I hope this gives you the confidence to buy that dress, that bikini, not miss out just because your body doesn’t fit into a certain category (because let me tell you all these things are made up nobody is too slim, too curvy, too athletic, too many stretch marks, too much cellulite ) LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE."

Scarlett has been open about her body confidence struggles and she admitted on Frankie Bridge's Open Mind Podcast last year, that she felt miserable when she went from a size 18 to a size 8.
She said: "I slowly realised it was quite detrimental to my mental health.
"I've also deleted all my before and after pictures...Not only were they bad for my peace of mind it wasn't really good for other people because now I look like my before picture again.
"I sort of rebelled against the DVD because I just didn't like how it happened and I just wasn't for it anymore."
