Scarlett Moffatt in tears after being pressed to expose boobs for The British Tribe Next Door

I'm A Celebrity's former queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt is making waves with her new Channel 4 show.

During The British Tribe Next Door, Scarlett and family head to Namibia to live among the nomadic Himba tribe in an exact replica of their Durham home.

One scene sees Scarlett refusing to take off her clothes and go topless like the women of the tribe.

The Gogglebox star, 29, is reduced to tears as the women urge her to embrace her body and expose her breasts.

Scarlett sobs: "All of the things that you want, I want to get rid of."

"You should dress up like us," a tribeswoman later tells Scarlett. "We'll need to get ochre and braids for you."

Scarlett laughs and gestures to her breasts, saying: "Can I wear something so that these are covered?"

The tribeswoman replies: "No, you will be like us. Why are you shy about showing your breasts? Is there something wrong with them?"

The show has drawn considerable attention, much of it very negative.

Some fans were appalled that the people of the tribe had to see Scarlett and family live in a house kitted out with 20,000 possessions, running water and Wi-Fi.

One scene saw Scarlett ask who wanted her leftover crusts as the tribe milked goats and ate porridge.

One tribesmen scolded: "We want livestock. What are we going to do with a house?"

A tribeswoman wondered why Scarlett had so many possessions as she was being given a tour about the house.

"I find it strange for one person to have many things," she said, "Scarlett doesn't need that many things."

Another laughed that Scarlett was "like a shapeshifter" because of her comsetics.

One disgruntled viewer wrote: "How on earth did @Channel4 think this was OK?? I'm totally shocked and appalled at #TheBritishTribeNextDoor."

Another added: "This show makes me feel sooooooo uncomfortable the whole 'woooo look at us, we're CIVILISED' vibe is very OFF."
