Scarlett Johansson looks happy.

Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum are set to star in the upcoming romantic-comedy film 'Fly Me to the Moon,' directed by Greg Berlanti. The movie, produced by Apple Original Films, is scheduled to hit theaters on July 14, with distribution handled by Sony.

The film is set against the backdrop of the Apollo 11 moon launch in 1968 and features a star-studded cast that includes Jim Rash, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson. Berlanti directed the movie based on a script by Rose Gilroy, with Bill Kirstein and Keenan Flynn credited for the story.

The producers of 'Fly Me to the Moon' include Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Lia, Keenan Flynn, and Sarah Schechter, with Robert J. Dohrmann serving as executive producer. The project initially titled 'Project Artemis' underwent changes in its creative team, with Berlanti taking over as director after Jason Bateman's departure due to creative differences. Channing Tatum joined the cast after Chris Evans had to step down due to scheduling conflicts.

Scarlett Johansson, known for her roles in films like 'Black Widow' and 'Asteroid City,' has been making waves in the entertainment industry. She recently premiered her drama 'North Star' at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and lent her voice to Paramount's upcoming animated feature 'Transformers One.'

Channing Tatum, who showcased his dancing skills in 'Magic Mike's Last Dance,' has been busy with projects like 'Dog' and 'The Lost City.' He is also set to appear in the thriller 'Blink Twice,' directed by Zoë Kravitz, slated for release this summer.

Greg Berlanti, a prominent television producer known for shows like 'Arrow' and 'Riverdale,' brings his directorial expertise to 'Fly Me to the Moon.' His previous feature film, 'Love, Simon,' was well-received by audiences.
