ABC announced Wednesday that a "Scandal"/"How to Get Away With Murder" crossover episode will be staged this season.
Stars Kerry Washington and Viola Davis broke the news with Instagram photos from each other's set.
Show creators Shonda Rhimes and Pete Nowalk confirmed the teases with a photo of the episode script.
"People. It's happening," Rhimes captioned her post, along with the hashtags "TGITCrossover" and "How to Get Away With Scandal."
The "Scandal" episode of the crossover will be directed by star Tony Goldwyn, who plays former President Fitzgerald Grant.
There's no airdate announced for the episodes yet.
