Scam warning as despicable fake GoFundMe page made for tragic Finglas mum Jennie Poole

People have been warned to report and not donate to a despicable fake Go Fund Me page set up for the tragic mum Jennie Poole who was stabbed to death in Finglas over the weekend.

It corresponds with a 'real one' made by Jennie Varszegi to help with funeral costs which have raised over €47, 000 so far.

Pictures of the fake page have been shared on Facebook in the last 24 hours to get the message out there of this devious act.

News of the passing of Jennie brought major shock to the local community and they were hoping everyone could pull together and show their support to how much the mum of two was loved to ease the burden of costs for her family.

Anything extra will go directly to her two young children after.

The prime goal target was initially €10,000 but this has bypassed it as the generosity of donations from the public continue to flood in.

Photos of the real Go Fund Me page were also shared to end the awful confusion.

The 24-year-old mum of two was attacked in her apartment in Melville drive Finglas, north Dublin on Saturday and was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

A man has been charged with the murder of Jennie after appearing at a Blanchardstown court this morning.
