Gardai are warning people to be vigilant over eFlow scam text messages and emails that claims they have an outstanding bill for travelling on motorways including the M50.
The eFlow service is used on motorways across the country including the M50, and the latest scam text or email tells users they owe money with a link to "pay" the amount owed. The message also threatens the recipient with penalty charges if the amount is not paid.
Gardai have warned that these eFlow texts and emails are "still catching people out" where they are clicking on the link. They are urging people to not click on these links, as it may give fraudsters access to their bank details.

A Garda spokesman said: "Unfortunately these Eflow texts and email scams are still catching people out where they are clicking on the link and giving the fraudsters access to their bank accounts.
"Please remember never to click on a link of any unsolicited text or email and delete them immediately. If you have been the victim of similar scams, report it to both your bank and your local Garda Station."
In a notice on the eFlow website, they have said that they are aware of the suspicious texts and emails. They said: "We are aware of suspicious text messages and emails claiming to be from eFlow.
"Please do not open any links from these messages and contact us if you are in doubt."
