Scaffolding crashes to ground in Dublin during feisty Storm Brendan winds

A scaffolding structure was blown over by Storm Brendan winds making an almighty crash in West Dublin.

Dramatic footage, which was taken in Adamstown in Lucan, shows the structure swaying in the winds as builders stand well away expecting the worst.

The winds then become too much for the structure which tipples inwards onto the site according to Dublin Live.

The incident came as Dublin was issued a status Orange alert.

Many parts of the Northside saw flooding while winds hit heights of 120kmp/h.
