Scaffolding crashes to ground in Dublin as feisty Storm Brendan weather rattles Ireland

A scaffolding structure was blown over by Storm Brendan winds making an almighty crash in West Dublin.

Dramatic footage, which was taken in Adamstown in Lucan, shows the structure swaying in the winds as builders stand well away expecting the worst.

The winds then become too much for the structure which tipples inwards onto the site.

The incident came as Dublin was issued a status Orange alert.

Many parts of the Northside saw flooding while winds hit heights of 120kmp/h.

The alert was lifted at 3pm today.
