SBG Ireland's Danni Neilan set to make professional debut at Bellator Dublin in September

Another SBG star has been added to the Bellator Dublin card on September 27 as Danni Neilan is set to make her professional debut with the promotion, the Irish Mirror can reveal.

Bellator are returning to Dublin after an extremely successful card back in February headlined by James Gallagher and Peter Queally, and will return to the 3 Arena with another blockbuster card.

Gallagher (9-1) is already pencilled in to main event the show, facing British fighter Cal Ellenon (8-2) and with Queally, Richie Smullen and Paul Redmond already announced on the card - the promotion have announced another bout.

Roscommon native Danni Neilan, who trains at SBG Mullingar, is set to make her professional debut at strawweight (115 pounds) and will face Camila Rivarola.

Ahead of the show, Head of Bellator Europe David Green said: "Ireland has always been a very important market for us and we are delighted to be returning to Dublin again in September.

"The event in Dublin in February this year was a landmark moment for the promotion and our dedicated fan base in Ireland made sure it was an unforgettable night of MMA action that will live long in the memory."

He added: "The European Fight Series has so far delivered spectacular finishes, highlight-reel knockouts and huge upsets and we are anticipating another blockbuster event in September."

Tickets for  Bellator Dublin  are now on and are available to purchase through  Ticketmaster.ie  and  Bellator.com , as well as the 3Arena box office while the show will be broadcast live on Virgin Media Sport.
