It's an effortless vacuum to use. It seamlessly passes from carpets to hard floors with its dual brushrolls and intelligent floor sensors, and its suction is strong enough to clean everything from dust to pet hair in seconds.
It's also a neat way to store your vacuum, as unlike the best upright vacuums, cordless sticks don't usually stand up by themselves. The Shark PowerDetect Cordless has a somewhat stylish design (as stylish as a vacuum cleaner be...), so it doesn't hurt to have it on show.
As soon as you place the vacuum on the dock, it will start self-emptying and charging, ready for the next use. It locks away 99.97% of allergens – without this, you risk them becoming airborne as they're released into your home, which will result in allergy symptoms unless you have one of the best air purifiers.
And as the dust, debris, and hair are forcibly sucked out of the vacuum, it actually cleans the vacuum more than if you were emptying it by hand.
