A super-savvy mum has managed to turn a pattered old caravan into a stunning bohemian holiday home for just £230.
Shannon Lott, 32, spent 24 hours converting the outdated caravan, using £1.50 rolls of vinyl in her work.
The mum-of-two bought the the 1987 caravan for £2,490 ($4800) in July last year to use as a holiday home when travelling around Australia.
And thanks to some cheap Kmart deals, she managed to transform the vehicle into a chic, liveable space.
Shannon, from Melbourne, Australia, said: "I spent eight hours a day for three days in July transforming the caravan into a liveable and modern space.
"I am impressed with how good the vinyl wrap paper looks - even after six months, it hasn't moved," Shannon said.
"I used six rolls for the floor, three for the kitchen backsplash, one for the chalkboard and another for the table.
"As it was only £1.50 ($3) per roll so I assumed I would need to renovate it again, but I think it is going to be fine."
Shannon spent a total of £230 ($450) in Kmart, Target, Bunnings and on Facebook marketplace.
"I got rid of the bed and purchased a sofa bed from Ikea which I found on Facebook marketplace for £57 ($110) and the seating area also pulls out into a bed.
"The caravan was all brown and boring, so I revamped it with white paint which was £23 ($45) for two pots from Bunnings along with gold spray paint for £7 ($14)."
She also used other items from her home that she's bought from Kmart earlier - such as cushions and woven baskets.
Her final Kmart haul set her back £73 ($143) and included a woven fruit bowl, Zola cushions and fringe ottoman.
The stay-at-home mum is currently living in the mobile home with her children Teva, 14 and Isla, three and they couldn't be happier.
She said: "I initially purchased the van for holidays to save on hotel and food expenses, but we now live in it whilst waiting for our new house to be ready.
"It has brought us together, not just in proximately but as a family.
"My teenage son probably wants his own space at times, but he never says no to a movie night.
"The only downside to the caravan is there isn't any bathroom facilities so we have to stay on a caravan site."
