Savvy mum shares easy tip for cleaning baby clothes stains - and it's free

Babies are messy little things and keeping their clothes stain-free is an uphill battle, but one mum has shared an ingenious tip.

She swears stubborn stains caused by poo or tomatoes can be vanquished with this effortless method.

It's mind-boggling how much laundry these tiny humans make, but this tip could save parents from a mountain of stained babygrows.

You won't need to buy any extra cleaning supplies or actually do anything with this one-step tip.

The ingenious mum shared her wisdom on a Facebook group Cleaning Hacks, Tips and Recommendations back in 2019 - but the trick is timeless and it costs absolutely nothing to try for yourself, the Mirror reports.

She posted an image of her little one's white onesie smothered in tomato sauce next to an "after" picture of the same item, one again a box-fresh white.

The woman explained her secret - and it's as simple as hanging any stained clothing out on the washing line in the sunshine.

It sounds too good to be true, but the mum claims it "genuinely works" and we're definitely intrigued.

She explained: "Before and after 24 hours on the line and no stain remover needed."

And it seems she's not the only one to have figured out this free stain removal hack.

Another member replied: "It genuinely works. Poo and tomato sauce stains disappear after several hours outside in strong sunshine. Don't ask how it works, it just does."

And someone else wrote: "I do this all the time and most of the time it works a treat."
