But one shopper investigated the best time to visit and shoppers took to Facebook to share their hacks to get to the middle aisle’s best products.
On the We love Lidl UK Facebook page, someone asked: “What time would you guys recommend getting to Lidl on a Thursday morning to get one of the middle aisle products?”
People flooded in to offer their best hacks for getting middle aisle products early.
One woman straight forward said: “8am”. With an eye rolling emoji.
A worker at Lidl confessed: “As a non-food co-ordinator... If you really want something, I would get there for opening times. I have things sell out within an hour”
Another proved their dedication to the middle aisle: “Night before. Take a sleeping bag... a thermos and tent”
“Go Wednesday night about 8-ish as some of the stuff is put out then” Someone suggested.
Young shoppers have been sharing their middle aisle finds on TikTok with a video titled: beware of the middle aisle. The video that gathered 44.6k views warned shoppers who go in for a couple of items and return home with garden furniture from the famous middle aisle.
Other TikTok videos show people heading to their new Lidl store and seeing what the middle aisles have to offer.
Edinburgh is set to be the home of a huge Lidl store as the council has recently approved plans for the build.
